70 MINUTES DAILY SCHEDULE

At TPS , Last two periods have been kept exclusively for activities which includes Indoor and outdoor games and sports, yoga and meditation, music and dance, fine arts, computers, multimedia, robotics and many more. Every student takes part in one or the other activity of their interest.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Cultural activities are very essential for proper intellectual development and social integration. At TPS, these are organized with a view to identify and develop individual talent. Every student is provided with a chance to mount the stage and perform in front of an audience so that he/she is able to develop stage confidence and presence, creativity, initiative, event management skills, organizational capabilities and originality.

MUSIC & DANCE

Hobby classes in vocal Hindustani music, Tabla and Sitar are offered to interested students. The program for music also includes two or more concerts in vocal and instrumental classical Indian music as well as an informal musical evening each term.
All the students attend dance classes in either Indian or Western folk dance. Formal training in some classical Indian dance forms is offered in hobby classes to interested students.
Each House produces a House Show each year, giving children of all ages a chance to perform on stage or learn the art of stage management and give an exposure to the students.

ART & CRAFT

The Art Faculty provides a richly creative ambience for learning a wide variety of arts and craftwork. Children grow in their aesthetic sensibilities through learning sketching, painting and clay work etc. Tree Planting has been an annual activity over the years. Dramatics, Debating, Elocution and Quiz contests are a regular feature.
